The BEC Travelling Column Vertical (TCV) family of machining centers offer unequalled performance as defined by speed, rigidity, acceleration and accuracy, necessary for high speed machining. Modular in design, the 3 axis traveling column CNC has a 31.5” X 39” X 144” to 384” (800mm X 1m X 3.66 m to 9.76 m) machining envelope , very high acceleration 130 in/sec2(3.3m/sec2) and high velocity (to 1700 ipm [43 m/min]) for conventional and High Velocity Machining.

The traveling column approach allows single parts of virtually unrestricted weight to be machined or multiple parts to be shuttle machined eliminating the need for pallets. All spindle motions are controlled by the moving saddle, column and ram. Direct Drive Spindles Power
